Deanna's grip on Lance's arm tightened.
"So, are you saying her drink wasn't spiked?" Deanna protested. "I distinctly asked Aberforth to spike all three drinks; not just yours and mine."
She felt Lance wince as her grip grew stronger, she realeased his arm.
"If she's injured her collarbone, Eddie's bound to notice. I've been under the impression they're dating... If he asks, which as a good boyfriend he should, Sophie won't lie to him. We'll give them some 'alone time'. Spying on them. We'll hear everything."
Deanna grinned, a mischevious flicker in her eyes. She quickened her pace to catch up with Sophie.
"Do you have a broom?" Deanna asked. "I've got one... Shop's not too far from here if not. You and Lance will need transportation."
Deanna picked her broom up from the broomstand outside the Hog's Head.
"Ready when you two are," Deanna said.

"I'm ready," Sophie said, "I have a broom, let me summon it." She summoned the broom in the same way she sent her note earier, more like Apparition than the Accio summoning charm. The broom appeared and she turned to the other two waiting for a sign that they too were ready.
She felt bad about not telling them the truth about being attacted. She didn't really know why she lied, but something inside her was telling her to tell no one. But she let the bad feeling pass, it was the only thing she had lied about so she wouldn't let her mind rest on it.

Sophie led them through the air toward London. She was exicited about seeing Eddie, but she didn't really want to. Seeing Eddie meant telling him that Emily was dead. She didn't know how he would take it. She looked around at Lance and Deanna. They were flying close together not very far behind her. She turned back to face the direction she was flying as a tear rolled down her beaten cheeks. She didn't know what was going to happen to them. She was beginning to be afraid.

"I don't see how she got bruises either..." Deanna said to Lance, hoping to shout over the wind. "But I promise you she will tell Eddie. I'm gonna double back for a moment... See if we're being followed."
Though the howling wind roared, Deanna was sure she heard Lance mutter, "Paranoid", but, as the adage goes, it may have been the wind. Deanna turned the Nimbus 2001 around and flew ten yards back scanning the skies for trackers.

Lance pulled up besides Sophie, hoping to find out more about the bruises...
"So, how long have you know EDDI?" He asked.

"Well, Emily was my friend in school. She was only a year behind me, and we became friends about a week after she was sorted. Eddie and I didn't really meet though until the Christmas break of my third year, because he was a few years ahead of me and in a different house. We became friends and my fifth year we kinda started seeing each other," she answered truthfully. It made her sad to talk about Emily now that she was just a memory. She remembered how they were practically inseperable. She turned her head away so Lance wouldn't see her watery eyes.

Deanna dove down, near the ground and scanned it for followers. She didn't want to get too far behind-- in case Sophie and Lance decided to fly off without her. She bit her lip as she rocketed upwards. She was a little suspicious of the bruises, but she hoped Sophie would tell Eddie.
Deanna gripped the broom with her knees so she could search her pockets. She wanted to be sure she had some Extendable Ears. Thought they were made for a Joke Shop, they were very useful for spying. When Deanna found the long fleshy strings, she stuffed them back in her pocket and rejoined her group.
"Every fifteen minutes or so, I'll double back. I don't want to take any chances," she told them when she was flying next to them. "Don't fly off without me."

They remained quiet as they flew over the rolling landscape. Sophie couldn't help but think about what Eddie might do when he found out, if he hadn't already. But something slipped into her mind, Jason was his friend. What if Eddie already knew? Should she hide it from him? She was brought out of these questions when the began to realize there was less and less land between the buildings.

"We're over the city," Deanna stated the obvious. "Should we land and take muggle transportation?"

(I'm sorry this took so long. I've been away for two weeks and had a lot of catching up to do.)
--------------------------------------------------
Dana stood below Lance's window, simply waiting for the two Order members to reappear. She had no way to know exactly what Deanna and Lance were talking about, but it didn't take a genius to figure out that they were probably discussing Lance's being attacked.
It wasn't long before the two Order members left the apartment and returned to Hogsmeade, Dana, confidently protected by a Disillusionment Charm, following discreetly behind them all the way.
When Deanna and Lance arrived back in Hogsmeade, however, Dana headed towards the Hog's Head at first, but paused when she saw Deanna head down to another shop. She followed the other witch to a local apothecary: Beaker and Bloodwart's. Dana checked to make sure that the Charm was still in place, and followed up to the shop, though the door closed before she could get inside. So instead, Dana simply waited on the other side of the door, and glanced at her watch continuously with impatience.
What can that woman possibly be doing? she thought to herself as time kept ticking by. In reality, Dana had to admit that Deanna hadn't been in the shop that long, but the young Auror's nerves were so tight at the moment, that every second seemed like hours.
Calm down, Dana, she thought. Just calm down.
Dana nearly jumped when the door to the apothecary opened and Deanna exited the shop. The young Auror's mind had been anywhere but on her assignment, and the sudden reappearance of one of her targets had surprised her, to say the least. "Pay attention, Dana," she hissed under her breath as she moved to follow Deanna back to the pub.
As Deanna went up to speak with the barman, whose name Dana thought was Albert or Alberforth or something, Dana walked back to the far table that she had occupied previously. No one was sitting anywhere around her, which worked out just fabulously for the Auror. Sitting back, she watched as Lance headed to the restroom and Deanna continued speaking with the older barman.
Where's the girl? The question kept going over and over in Dana's mind as she glanced continuously at her watch. Finally, shortly after 9:20, Sophie came through the door of the pub, and Dana held back a breath when she saw the woman.
The girl was pretty beat up: a large cut down the cheek, a black eye, and a giant bruise on her neck. What happened to her? she thought, but only one idea came to her mind: It had to have been the contact.
Dana focussed her attention on the trio as they took their drinks and began to talk with each other. From what she could gather, they weren't trusting each other very well, and were all in the midst of questioning one another. "Probably have Veritaserum," Dana muttered. "After all, both Deanna and Lance worked for the Ministry, Lance as an Auror as well."
It wasn't long before they all got up from the bar and left. The last bit of conversation Dana caught between the two witches and wizard was that Deanna believed the Dark Mark on Emily might have poisoned, and that they were going to find Eddie, Emily's brother.
Once they had left the pub, Dana followed behind them. Every one of them had a broom and quickly took to the air. Dana knew it was foolish to try and follow through the air. There was no way to stay hidden very well while flying, and either Lance or Deanna was sure to make sure that they weren't being followed.
So, Dana removed her wand, and sent a brief message to the contact:
Three going after brother, Eddie. Flying. Will follow but will be behind.
Only about three seconds later, she had received a reply:
Do it.
It was the shortest answer that she had ever received from the contact before.
"Fine," she muttered as she ducked back into an alley, and removed the Disillusionment Charm. She could only be seen, however, for a few seconds, before a sleek, black cat stood in her place. The black cat exited the alley and began prancing along the path, her yellow eyes focussed on the three brooms soaring through the air.
She watched as a broom came back, and she stared up at Deanna on the broom. Dana had been right: Someone would double back. The witch didn't give a second glance at the black cat, and just soared back into the air.
If a cat could smile, Dana definitely would have as she continued down the path.

Sophie led them down to a secluded place to land. Then led them to a bus stop near by she knew of. She didn't speak much except to tell them to follow her.

Deanna followed Sophie in silence. She turned her head and glanced over her shoulder every few steps. She felt tense and paranoid. Though she had seen no one following them, there were hundreds of ways wizards and witches could conceal themselves. She saw a black cat dart into the shadows. Deanna gasped, and then laughed.
"Just a cat... How stupid of me to think- I mean it is a black cat and black cats mean bad luck..." she laughed nervously. "I'm not superstious, if that's what you think. Just worried."
She rubbed the back of her neck in embarassment and saw the cat, sitting on the ground, looking amused as only a cat could.

(sorry guys... I forgot)
Lance followed Sofee. His hand was on his wand in his pocket the whole time. He, un like Deanna, new that there was a 75% chance that they were being followed by one person, a 10% chance they were being followed by a group and a 15 % chance they were safe. He griped his wand tighter and moved on...

"We better sit her and wait for the muggle bus," Sophie said motioning at the bench. "Unless you wanted to take the Knight Bus."
