Hey y'all,
Avenger tried to start an Order meeting RPG, and it didn't go through. I think it's because of unorganization on my part. I pulled up the RPG from MNFF and pasted it here. It was pretty much on a whim of retalliation. Granted, I got people to go along with it. But it took a while for responses. And instead of being a good and patient administrator, I didn't wait for all the responses and went ahead with the board. For that, I apologize; it's seemingly a four-person RPG.
But maybe, we can use Avenger's Order RPG to up advertising. By this I mean, start more roleplays: canon and non. If so, how many should we have? If we have non-canon (fanon or loosely HP based) RPGs, should we use our OCs for the original RPG or create new ones?
Everyone, please vote on this-- it could determine the future of GryffGamers.
Cheers,
MadMar

I agree. I think we should have one Cannon, and one not cannon. IO think we shoul invite all our fellow muggleneters to play, not just Gryffs. Also, maby after a while we will each have an almost "library" of OCs that we can pick from for each role play...

That's brilliant Avenger! *claps hands excitedly* Let's get started....
However, I'd like to make this a mega-multi-RP site, so I was hoping for at least three games.

I voted for two, but I think three would also be okay. Basically, I don't think we should have too many, because then, things could become too chaotic and unorganized, but too few wouldn't provide a lot of choices for people.
Also, if we could get more people, which is something that I'm sure everyone's working on, it would be easier to justify having more, and there wouldn't be such a gap in reply time between posts.

A thought I had....
Should we make our original roleplay unaccessable to new members? Since we've progressed far into it.

Should we make our original roleplay unaccessable to new members? Since we've progressed far into it. I think that would be best, as introducing new characters in too major of roles at this point would just be too chaotic and whatnot. We could always have a sort of off-shoot of our original where newer users can join in, as well as some completely new RPs. ~Megan

Okay, that's what my basic train of thought was as well.
Also, Avenger and I have attempted to outline a second RP. But, I would like any of y'all's ideas to be voice before we set one up.

Is there anything specific that you two had in mind, like canon or not? Time frame? Etc?

It involved the heirs of Slytherin (Voldemort) and the heirs of the other houses.... although we weren't sure what exactly we wanted.
That's why I'm asking for everyone else's ideas.

There could be a student RPG where anyone could design a student character. Newbies could make up there own characters and veterans could write in for the other students in classes, but mostly just stick to one house. Do you understand? It was just a thought.

Not really. What do the veterans do, exactly?

This will be like a newbie tutorial like rpg. Newbies who come in can use it at first to practice their RPG skills. They will all be a part of one house, like Gryffindor. They must create a rounded character sheet and practice interacting. The 'vets' will guide their progress, like sending them to lessons or lunch, also the vets will speak for any students they newbies interact with from other houses. (at least until (if) we have enough to make the newbie rpg multi houses. Is that better? Is it even a good idea?

Cool, we could do that.
We could also have an RP ready for 'em when they've progressed. Like an RP world they can roam in.
